As we walked into the modern interior of Hardee’s, we were greeted with warm music and friendly service, which is not usual for a fast-food breakfast. We promptly ordered from the large, mouth-watering menu and after conversing with each other for a few minutes, we were quickly served hot and fresh food.
To begin, Stephen ordered the Loaded Omelet Biscuit, to which we gave an 8/10. The Loaded omelet filled with crumbled sausage, bacon, ham and American cheese stacked onto the hot biscuit and melted in the mouth. Aside from the mildly dry, but fluffy biscuit, it was terrific.
Brady enjoyed a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit, to which we gave a 7/10. The Biscuit was topped with smoked bacon, fluffy egg, and American cheese. The sandwich was filling but not too big making it the perfect breakfast for the morning to come. Aside from the bacon being a bit less crispy than we would prefer, it was tasty and healthy compared to most fast-food breakfast sandwiches due to its lower calorie count compared to most other options.
Cody enjoyed a Sausage Egg and Cheese burrito. The sausage contained melted cheddar cheese and fluffy egg all wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla. It received the lowest grade of a 5/10 due to its small size, making it hard to gauge the flavors and leaving him with unfilled room in his stomach
The establishment and experience as a whole was good: the fast and convenient service, along with the freshly served entrees and sides made for one of the better fast-food breakfasts in Jefferson City.
