Cycling Club, run and organized by David Bange, is a non-competitive club that gives students the chance to ride bikes and have an energetic, fun experience. The club also rides on various different trails, such as Greenway, Katy Trail, and less populated streets. It also has both casual and mountain biking opportunities, for those who want a more challenging experience.
In the fall, the Cycling Club was every Tuesday at 6:00 PM, but due to the upcoming winter weather and time changes, the Cycling Club will have fewer meets, however, they will begin their Tuesday meets again in the spring. Although the cold weather brings difficulties, that doesn’t stop the Cycling Club from holding their next event on December 21st, on which they ride to and from the mayor’s Christmas tree, while grabbing some hot chocolate and S’mores on the way.
With new opportunities to form bonds with other students, and the slight exercise, Cycling Club is perfect for any student who loves being outside and meeting friends.
“Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord” (psalms 24:3).
